Ray opened the shop in 2014 after eight years cutting in the city. It’s two chairs, a radio and no fuss, and most people who come in once are back every few weeks.

- No. Walk-ins are welcome whenever we’re open. Book ahead if you’d rather not wait.
- Do you cut kids’ hair?
- Yes, from about three years old. Kids under 12 are $30.
- How long does a cut take?
- About 30 minutes for most cuts, and 45 with a beard trim.
- Can I pay by card?
- Yes: card, tap or cash.
